We see lives, communities, and societies transformed as we disciple people in the Word, Presence, and Power of God.
We exist to honor God by establishing Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches, and campus ministries in every nation.
His People church is one church meeting in multiple locations throughout the greater Gaborone area. We are part of the global Every Nation family of churches and Campus ministries.
His People Gaborone started in April 2007 in the living room when 3 couples came together to do a parenting course. The first Sunday service was held not long after on 16 June 2007. Since then, we have seen God add multiple ministry leaders, volunteers and people from diverse backgrounds and languages. Currently we are meeting in 3 different locations each with their own leadership team and unique worship expression.
Because Jesus is “King of kings and Lord of lords,” we believe that whole-hearted submission to God’s will and his Word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the foundation of all spiritual growth.
Because God’s heart is to reach the lost, we’re passionate about preaching the gospel and doing ministry in a way that engages people outside of the Christian faith.
Because we’re called to make disciples, our primary focus is establishing biblical foundations, equipping believers to minister, and empowering disciples to make disciples.
Because we’re called to establish churches and campus ministries in every nation, we’re committed to a culture of empowering leadership.
Because the family is the foundation and validation of ministry, we refuse to sacrifice our marriages and our children on the
